Pediatric

Pediatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of newborns, infants, children and adolescents. This department comprises of very prominent and distinguished physicians who are dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. A Pediatrician is a child’s physician who provides preventive health maintenance for healthy children, medical care for children who are ill. Pediatricians manage the physical, mental and emotional well-being of their patients in every stage of their development – to reduce neonatal and under 5 mortality, control infectious diseases and ease the difficulties of children and adolescents with chronic condition. 

The department has been integrated with a sophisticated neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for managing critically ill cases. The unit is equipped with modern equipment and appliances for rescuing any dying neonate. The unit is staffed with a highly skilled health care team consist of consultant neonatologist, specialists, doctors, senior staff nurses and support staff to provide 24 hour /7 days services to admitted patients.
